Terms of use
Last updated: 27 October 2026
CorviNotes is a free website where Corvinus students share their own lecture notes. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.
Who runs CorviNotes
CorviNotes is an independent student project run by Koppány Leé. It is not run, endorsed or checked by Corvinus University of Budapest. Contact: contact@corvinotes.hu.
Who can use it
Only people with a Corvinus student email address (@stud.uni-corvinus.hu) can create an account. Keep your sign-in codes to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
What you may upload
You may upload PDF notes (up to 20 MB) that:
- you wrote yourself, or that you have the author's permission to share;
- belong to the course and group you choose.
You may not upload:
- lecturers' slides, handouts, textbooks or book chapters;
- exam or test papers, or their official solutions;
- anyone else's work without their permission;
- other people's personal data (for example names, photos or contact details);
- anything illegal, offensive, misleading or unrelated to studying.
Your notes stay yours
You keep the copyright in your notes. By uploading, you allow CorviNotes to store your notes and to let signed-in users view and download them for their own studying. Other students never see who uploaded a note. You can delete your notes at any time under My uploads; this ends that permission.
Using other students' notes
Notes are for your personal studying only. Do not sell them, publish them elsewhere or share them outside CorviNotes. Notes are written by students and may contain mistakes; they do not replace official course materials.
Moderation
Anyone can report a note. We may hide or delete any note, and suspend any account, that breaks these terms, without notice. Repeated or serious breaches lead to the account being removed.
Removal requests
If a note contains your work or your personal data, or breaks these terms, you can ask for its removal, even without an account. We hide the note within 48 hours of receiving the request while we review it. See Request removal.
No guarantees
CorviNotes is provided free and "as is". We do our best to keep it running and your notes safe, but we cannot guarantee that the site is always available or that notes are correct, and we may change or stop the service. Keep your own copies of your notes. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss caused by using the site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; for important changes we will tell users on the site or by email.
